Never Forget

May our country be united together as we remember in prayer.

The Shrine of St. Joseph is home to the 35-foot high Tower of Remembrance. The memorial is dedicated to the memory of all those who lost their lives on 9/11. The architecture combines steel from the North Tower of the World Trade Center and bells from the Missionary Servants of the Most Holy Trinity’s Seminary in Monroe, Virginia. The name of each innocent victim who died at The World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and in Shanksville, Pennsylvania’s countryside is inscribed on the memorial walls. Every year on September 11th, the Shrine of St. Joseph hosts an Ecumenical Candlelight Vigil at 7:00 pm. Many people continue to visit the Tower of Remembrance to remember those lost, pray for healing, and find peace.  The Tower of Remembrance is open daily for all to visit.
