Pilgrimage Experience

In today’s hectic world, do you long for connection, for meaning, for quiet space and time to reflect and contemplate on significant questions – about your future, about your purpose, about God?

The beautiful and sacred solitude of the Shrine of Saint Joseph offers a prayerful respite, a unique and welcoming space for you to take time away from your regular schedule for private or communal reflection and prayer, including Mass and the sacraments.

Nestled in the Watchung Mountains of Stirling, NJ you will find The Shrine of Saint Joseph. It is a unique and special mission of the Missionary Servants of the Most Holy Trinity. The Shrine campus has the main Chapel, a wonderful Gift Shop on the lower level, an Auditorium for large events, and many outdoor grottos for you to spend time in reflective prayer. The campus also has an official peace site that has a Tower of Remembrance honoring those lost on 9/11 and the brave men and women that keep our country safe.

Our brand-new Oratory to St Joseph was completed in Spring 2022, dedicated to the life of Saint Joseph, and will give all visitors to the Shrine, including groups and individuals, a new way to appreciate our patron.  The model of Saint Joseph is helpful to all families as he gives the ideal example of what it means to be a leader who was faithful to the call that God had entrusted to him.

Encounter God’s presence within unique surroundings, accompanied by friendly and supportive clergy, staff, and volunteers who live the Shrine’s mission. Guests of all ages, backgrounds, and cultures experience transformational peace and preserve and deepen their faith.  All are welcome to join us here at the Shrine.
